The world I know

Knows chaos and trauma

The traffic

The toxic

The plastic

A prequel

To a new pandemic

Welcomes the new normal

But not for nature.

Our bleak future

Sees crystal streams

Where fish teems

Swans dance

Their second chance

At life

She needed to rest

To reset

To nurture better;

She needs our suffering

The final surrender

To her whispered pleas
