I went to graduate school in the States and my American buddies would fight for a seat at my small table because I made tapa, pansit, adobo and yes, the piece de resistance — lumpia. Now Filipino food is making waves in the US that the last time I visited I cooked! Haha. Be proud of your heritage, AND the food. It’s a good thing to have and I deeply love my country — and yours — because of it.
